Volunteering with Miyka’el Foundation means showing up, rolling up your sleeves, and giving the one thing that cannot be purchased: your time.
Whether you have a few hours or a few days, a specific skill or simply a willing heart, there is a meaningful place for you here.
How It Works:
Submit A Volunteer Application: Complete the volunteer interest form below so we can learn about you, your availability, your skills, and how you would like to serve. Individuals and groups are welcome. All volunteers go through a brief review process. Roles involving direct contact with children or vulnerable populations require a background check.
Get Matched To A Role: Once your application is reviewed, we reach out to discuss available opportunities that match your availability, location, and interests.
Show Up And Serve: Volunteers are scheduled based on program needs. Whether you’re sorting donations, assisting with distributions, supporting events, or lending professional skills, every hour you give makes a real difference.
Volunteer Opportunities May Include:
Food sorting and pantry support, Back-to-School and birthday drive assistance, distribution and delivery support, administrative and organizational support, skills-based volunteering (photography, graphic design, web design, social media, grant writing, translation, and more), community outreach, and event setup and coordination.

Did You Know?
Many employers offer volunteer grants, sometimes called Dollars for Doers, that provide financial support to nonprofits based on employee volunteer hours. Your time with Miyka’el Foundation may unlock additional funding for our programs. Check with your employer to see if your volunteer service qualifies.
A note on taxes: Volunteer time itself is not tax-deductible. However, certain unreimbursed expenses related to volunteer service, such as mileage, may qualify. Please keep records and consult a tax professional regarding your situation.
