LAKOU SHILOH

A Home for Every Season of Life

Lakou Shiloh is a family-centered home providing lifelong care, stability, and belonging for orphaned children and isolated elders in Hayti.

Inspired by the ancient biblical city of Shiloh, where the children of Israel gathered, dwelled, and found rest after their years of wandering, Lakou Shiloh offers what many have lost or never had: a safe home, a loving family, and the assurance that they are no longer alone.

How It Works:

For Children

Children who are true orphans or whose reintegration is not in their best interest are welcomed into a permanent, family-style home environment. Each child becomes part of daily family life, receiving love, structure, and stability.

Family Reintegration

Where safe and appropriate, we work to reunite children with their biological families, providing support and guidance through the reintegration process to ensure the child’s wellbeing remains the priority.

For Elders

Elders with no surviving family and stable home are welcomed into the Lakou Shiloh community and integrated into family life alongside the children, ensuring no season of life is spent alone.
