Back-to-School Readiness equips local children and youth with the fundamental resources they need to enter the classroom ready to learn.
By addressing both academic preparation and everyday school comfort, we ensure that students can focus on what matters most: their education.
Program Components
School Supply Packs
A grade-appropriate bundle including a durable backpack, notebooks, folders, binders, writing supplies, and other essential materials.
Contents may vary based on availability and grade level.
Student Essentials Closet
School-appropriate clothing for boys and girls, including tops, bottoms, shoes, socks, underwear, and seasonal essentials.
Families visit the closet by appointment and choose the apparel that best meets their children’s needs and preferences, helping every child start the school year feeling comfortable and confident.
This component operates entirely through community donations and supplemental funding.
How It Works:
Submit a Request:
Submit a request by visiting our Get Help page or by clicking on the request button below, and indicate whether your child needs a Supply Pack, an Essentials Closet visit, or both.
Confirmation & Matching:
Once your request is reviewed, we will contact you by email or phone to confirm what is available and schedule your appointment. Supply packs are matched to your child's grade, and closet appointments are set aside for your family alone, with no waiting in line.
Important Notices:
Requests are filled based on what we have in stock and our capacity for the school year. Clothing depends entirely on community donation inflows and funding for new apparel.
