Founder & President
Santia Calixte is the Founder and President of Miyka’el Foundation, a calling she has carried since childhood and built into reality through decades of preparation and perseverance.
Born in Hayti and raised in the United States, Santia moves fluently between both worlds. This lived experience shapes every program the Foundation builds and every community it serves. She carries a deep love for her homeland and a clear awareness of the realities faced by underserved communities across borders.
As a proud mother of three, including two daughters welcomed from Hayti, Santia’s personal life and the Foundation’s mission are beautifully intertwined. She understands firsthand what it means to open your heart, your home, and your hands to those in need.
With over a decade of experience in healthcare administration, business operations, and team leadership, she brings a compassionate, people-centered approach to every aspect of the Foundation’s work. Rooted in faith and a lifelong calling to serve, Santia leads Miyka’el Foundation with an unwavering standard: serve people well, lead with integrity, and never stop showing up.
Richardson Calixte
Vice President & Director of Hayti Operations
Richardson Calixte is the Vice President and Director of Hayti Operations of Miyka’el Foundation, leading community programs and on-the-ground initiatives across Hayti.
Raised in Hayti, he earned a sports scholarship as a standout basketball athlete, an early reflection of the discipline, teamwork, and leadership he carries into his work today. He also holds practical training in construction and residential installation, skills that play a vital role in the Foundation’s hands-on humanitarian efforts.
Driven by a deep commitment to family, community, and service, Richardson leads the Foundation’s Hayti operations with integrity, consistency, and care.
Esther Pierre
Board Secretary & Interim Treasurer
Esther Pierre is the Board Secretary and Interim Treasurer of Miyka’el Foundation, bringing a heart for people and a commitment to service that runs through every area of her life. A trained medical assistant and proud mother of three, Esther chose a career in healthcare because she believes everyone deserves to be cared for with competence and compassion.
Born in Hayti and raised in the United States, she carries the richness of both cultures, along with a deep love for her homeland and a genuine desire to see its communities thrive. Her daily work in the medical field instills in her a deep respect for confidentiality, meticulous record-keeping, and ethical stewardship, qualities that make her an exceptional fit to oversee the Foundation’s governance and financial compliance.
