Our Mission
Miyka’el Foundation serves as a refuge and advocate for underserved and marginalized communities locally and internationally. We provide compassionate, culturally grounded support through food assistance, maternal and child support, education, community navigation, family and community sustainability, and disaster relief. Our mission is to help individuals and families move from crisis to stability so every person can heal, thrive, and achieve lasting self-sufficiency.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world restored to peace and wholeness, where humanity is one and every child, elder, and family dwells in safety and rest. We envision a society where food, shelter, wellness, education, justice, and healthy environments are no longer privileges but realities, and where every person has the opportunity to flourish.
Our Values
Everything we do at Miyka’el Foundation flows from a set of core beliefs on which our organization has been
built. These beliefs shape how we serve, how we operate, and how we show up for every person who walks
through our doors. These values guide our decisions, our programs, and our relationships as we work toward
fulfilling our mission
- Dignity: Every person carries inherent worth. We meet every individual with deep respect, never
reducing anyone to their circumstance or struggle - Compassion: We move beyond sympathy from a distance. We meet the suffering of others with
presence, understanding, and decisive action. - ntegrity: We operate with honesty, transparency, and accountability in everything we do. We nurture
lasting relationships with the communities we serve, our donors, and within our own organization,
relationships built on trust, respect, and unwavering commitment. Every resource entrusted to us is
managed with respect and wisdom. - Cultural Honor: We celebrate the heritage, identity, and unique journey of every community, allowing
their roots to inform how we serve them. - Community: We believe that no one heals or thrives alone. We champion collective care and the
understanding that when one person rises, the whole community is lifted. - Courage: We show up in hard places and difficult seasons, choosing to stand with those who need our
voice, even when the work is challenging. - Excellence: We are committed to doing this work well. We maintain a standard of professionalism and
intentionality that honors both the communities we serve and the donors who trust us.
